"Dusty"

2005 Dun + gray dun mare sired by Haidas Son Of A Doc.  Sire of this filly has $700,000 NCHA earnings on his papers. His papers are loaded with such greats as: Haidas Little Pep-#9 ALL TIME LDG cutting sire of earners of $8,316,432., Peppy San Badger-HALL OF FAME, Doc's Haida, Son Ofa Doc-#18 ALL TIME LDG cutting sire of earners, Docs Sailfish, & Doc Bar. He is gorgeous and has the most marvelous disposition. He has passed on his good looks and great disposition to his foals.

Dusty has had about 80 days natural horsemanship training with a trainer that previously worked for the great King Ranch in Texas.  He uses her every week at a sale barn as well as on his cattle ranch checking cattle, so she is getting some very good exposure both in the brush and creeks as well as out in the real world of a noisy, busy sale barn tracking cattle.

Update, May 2009: Dusty is home now from the trainer. I've ridden her a couple of times in the Ozark Hills around Eminence, MO (trail ride capital) and oh what a dream she is to ride! So calm and relaxed, such a willing attitude, push button reining and leg response, has great lateral movement with leg pressure, side passes, opens gates, a great stop. I can't say enough good about her! She's like riding an older seasoned horse!  I rode her 5 1/2 hrs Friday (after she'd only been home 1 day), up and down the mountains, across the rivers, and she has so much heart and is so willing to please that she never acted tired or wanted to quit.

This is a 2005 claybank dun filly. She is 97.2656% FQHA! Her dam is 100% FQHA and the sire is 94.53125% FQHA.

She is very quiet, smart and willing. Hannah has started her natural horsemanship training (May, 2009) with a trainer that previously worked for the King Ranch in Texas. Hannah is being started the right way and is doing very well with her training.

This filly is show quality and with this high of a percentage foundation She is an excellent foundation show prospect, with the pedigree and high foundation percentage to go along with her good looks and unusual color.
